(Maria) Teresa Callen is a Commercial Sales and Leasing Specialist with Portal Realty. She has held a Florida Sales Licensee since 2004 and during her tenure at Portal Realty has achieved “Top Producer” status ($10MM+ in annual volume sales) year after year. Teresa has worked as a commercial real estate acquisitions advisor to numerous investment groups and individuals, and has been involved in transactions in various locales such as New York City/Sarasota/Tampa/St. Petersburg/Gainesville/Savannah, etc.
Being a commercial property investor since 2009 herself, and having a total of 15+ years of commercial real estate experience, Teresa is well versed in all aspects of a real estate transaction. She has a particular penchant for identifying excellent investment opportunities, and has superior negotiating skills as well as a firm understanding of real estate finance.
In addition to her significant real estate experience, Teresa holds a BA in English and Spanish Language, as well as a Masters Degree in English Education from University of Florida. She is Bilingual; fluent in both English and Spanish.
Through her exemplary sales and development consulting resume, Teresa has been elected to numerous boards of influence in Gainesville, FL including the Gainesville Downtown Advisory Board, Airport Authority Board, and is a member of the UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Advisory Board.
